WELLNESS WEEK AT UGANDA BREWERIES LIMITED
St. Joseph’s Hospital Partners with Uganda Breweries Limited, Uganda for their Health and Wellness Week
In a groundbreaking collaboration that combines community engagement with health awareness, we partnered with Uganda Breweries Limited to host a dynamic Health and Wellness Week to their staff. The week-long event aimed to promote physical and mental well-being through an innovative mix of educational activities, medical examinations and general treatment.
Building a Healthier working environment; Both organizations aim to use this partnership to inspire long-term healthy habits and create a ripple effect within the staff. The proceeds from the week’s events will be donated to local health initiatives, ensuring that the impact extends far beyond the event itself. Over 800 staff received medical checkups such as blood pressure screening, Random Blood sugar, laboratory tests such as HIV, Liver function tests, Renal Function test, prostate cancer screening, blood group and much more, they also received dental services, eye care services and general consultations
